What is a 301 redirect?



When your site or page has been moved or deleted and you want to send the user to another site or page, you are going to need to use a 301 redirect.

In theory, you should create a redirect every time you delete a post or page (from the URL of deleted content to the URL of new content)
You should also create a redirect every time you change the URL of a page or article (from the old page URL to the new one)
