Webmail is a way to send and receive email from a web browser, rather than an email client. Webmail applications allow you to verify your email accounts using your web browser.

When you use webmail, you access e-mail directly from your provider's server. This allows you to send and receive mail from anywhere in the world, from any device, as long as you have a web browser connected to the internet.

Your mail always stays on your provider's server, so if you don't have an internet connection, or if the provider's servers are down, you won't be able to access your email using webmail.

Additionally, webmail interfaces may not offer as many features as a more robust email client.
