Hotlink protection is a tool that prevents your multimedia content from being used by other websites via hotlinks. These are parasitic links through which other websites use your bandwidth to display your media files on their pages.
The built-in tool offered by cPanel protects all your jpg, jpeg, gif, png, and bmp files.
Log in to your cPanel account (via your customer account or https://www.bmoname.com:2083).
In the Security section, click the Hotlink Protection icon.
In the tool window, you will see its current status on the page. If protection is disabled, click the Enable button.
