ICANN is the regulatory body for domain registrations. ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers) requires domain owners to confirm their WHOIS contact information fornew domain registrations, transfers, and contact modifications.
How to verify contact information?
After you purchase your domain name, you will receive an email from the domain registry to verify your contact information.
Simply click on the verification link in the email and your contact information will be verified. You should verify your contact information within 15 days from your domain registration date.
If you don't verify your domain contact information, your domain will be suspended and it will become unavailable.
