How to get the Squarespace EPP transfer code?
The authorization code prevents unauthorized third parties from acquiring your domain. You need it to approve (allow) the transfer of domain to a new provider.
Sign in to your Squarespace account.
Open the Home menu in Squarespace and navigate to the Settings.
From the Settings menu, go to the Domain Names section.
Select the domain you want to transfer to access its options.
In this window, you can uncheck the option Lock Domain. This will make your domain accessible for transfer.
Then click the Get Authorization Code button to request an EPP transfer code from Squarespace.
You will receive an email in the next few minutes with your authorization code and a confirmation request.
To speed up the process and avoid blocking, you can confirm your transfer request. A link to this effect should be included in the message containing the transfer code.
