How to create a TXT Record

TXT (Text) records are DNS entries that store text-based information related to your domain. They are commonly used for domain verification, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and third-party service validation, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.


Adding TXT records ensures that your domain’s identity is verified and your emails are authenticated properly, improving deliverability and security.


Step 1: Access the DNS Management Interface


  1. Log in to your Client Area.


  1. Navigate to My Domains.


  1. Locate the domain name you wish to manage.


  1. Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the domain and select Manage Domain.





  1. On the Domain Overview page, click **DNS Management **from the available options..







You will be redirected to the DNS Zone Editor interface, where you can view and modify DNS records for your domain.



Step 2: Add a DNS Record


  1. To create a new record, click Add row.











  1. Enter the required details in the appropriate fields


Name: Enter domain name (example.com to apply the record to your root domain or specify a subdomain (e.g., _dmarc, _domainkey,etc, ).


Type: Select TXT from the dropdown menu.


Value / Text: Enter the text value provided by your email service or verification provider (e.g., SPF record: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all).


TTL (Time to Live): If you have a preferred TTL value, enter it. The system requires a TTL between 60 and 2,419,200 seconds.


Priority: You can leave it blank





  1. Click Save Changes to apply the new TXT record.





Step 3: Verify the DNS Propagation


Once saved, DNS propagation will begin. It may take up to 24 hours for your new TXT record to take effect globally.
