Connecting Your Domain to Google Workspace (G Suite) via DNS
Step 1: Access the DNS Management Interface
- Log in to your EX2’s Client Area.
- Go to My Domains and select the domain you want to manage (e.g.,mathtestex2.eu).
- Click on the three dots next to the domain and select Manage Domain.

- On the Domain Overview page, click on DNS Management.

Step 2: Add MX Records for Google Workspace
There are two valid configurations for Google Workspace MX records – the legacy and the new setup. Use the one that fits your DNS panel format.
New Google Workspace accounts:
If you are a new Google Workspace customer and are configuring your MX records
for the first time, you can use smtp.google.com or the five records described below,
as both will function.
Legacy MX Setup:
Priority Mail Server
1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
10 ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
10 ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

Make sure to delete any existing MX records before adding these.
Step 3: Add a TXT Record for Verification and SPF
Host Type Value
@ TXT v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
Also add the TXT verification record provided in your Google Admin Console (it usually
starts with google-site-verification=).

Step 4: Add CNAME Records for Mail and Calendar (Required)
Even though Google lists these as optional, it’s highly recommended to include them for full
functionality (Gmail, Calendar, and mobile sync).
Name Type Destination
mail CNAME ghs.googlehosted.com
calendar CNAME ghs.googlehosted.com

Step 5: Save and Verify Changes
- Click Save after entering all DNS records.
- Wait for DNS propagation (can take up to 24 hours).
- Go to your Google Admin Console and complete domain verification.
- Test email by sending a message to/from your domain.
Step 6: Verify DNS Changes
Use external tools like:
to confirm the propagation of A and CNAME records.
By completing these steps, your domain will correctly point to your Wix website using the pointing method.
