How to set up an email account in Outlook?
If you have an email account installed on the server, you can configure Outlook to send/receive emails from this email address.
You must first create the e-mail address via the cPanel. To do so, visit this tutorial:
Instructions for setting up Outlook:
IMAP
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- In the menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Account.
- Click on Add email account.
- Enter your email address.
- Choose IMAP/POP.
- Fill in the fields correctly:
- Type: IMAP.
- Email: your email.
- Username: your email.
- Password: your password.
- Incoming server: mail.yourDomainName.com (Port 993).
- Outgoing server: mail.yourDomainName.com (Port 587).
- Click on Add account.
POP
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- In the menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Account.
- Click on Add email account.
- Enter your email address.
- Choose IMAP/POP.
- Fill in the fields correctly:
- Type: POP.
- Email: your email.
- Username: your email.
- Password: your password.
- Incoming server: mail.yourDomainName.com (Port 995).
- Outgoing server: mail.yourDomainName.com (Port 587).
- Click on Add account.
Congratulations, you can now configure your Outlook.
