Ex2 gives you access to two methods to access the control panel associated with your hosting account.

Connect to cPanel via the customer area

To get started, log in to your Ex2 account to access the Ex2.com customer space.

On the home page of the customer area, click My Services to access your accommodation.

You will then be redirected to the My Products & Services page, where you can see your Ex2 hosting plans.

Select the hosting plan you want to access to the cPanel account.

You will then see a new window. To the right of it, you will see a menu. In the Actions section, click the Connect to cPanel option.

You will then be redirected to your cPanel control panel.

Connect to cPanel via a direct connection URL

If you don’t want to use the Ex2 client space every time you want to access cPanel, you can use the connection URL directly.

To do this, you must use https://cpanel.yourdomain.com or https://yourdomain.com:2083.

You will then see a login page to your cPanel Ex2.

Here are the steps to access your Ex2 account

To access your Ex2 account, you must first visit the EX2 website.

On the right side of the menu at the top of the home page, click the LOGIN button.

You will then be redirected to the login page.

There are two ways you can then log into your account.

If your Ex2 account is linked to your social media accounts, you can log in via them by clicking on the button of your choice.

Regardless of the method chosen, the site will check the validity of the information. You will then be redirected to the customer area of your Ex2 account.

The SSL or "Secure Socket Layer" protocol protects your website by encrypting the information that is exchanged between Ex2's servers and the internet browser of the user of your website. For example, the SSL protocol offers you all the security you need for your online store. In addition, the SSL protocol signals its activation by displaying a small icon which takes the form of a padlock and which will be visible in all browsers. Internet users are therefore able to very easily verify that they are on a secure site.

If you want to use SSL on your website, all you need is two things, a unique IP address and SSL certificate.

1) Obtain a dedicated IP address

A unique IP address is a numeric address that will be assigned only to your website. If you are on shared hosting and have not previously purchased a unique IP address, the IP address you currently have is shared with other users who are using the same Ex2 server as your website. Unfortunately, a shared IP address does not allow SSL protection to be implemented.

To obtain a dedicated IP address, simply order it in your ex2 customer area at this address: www.ex2.com/clients

Click on "Services".
Then click on the domain you want to add a dedicated IP address.

Windows 11 fully supports synchronization of CalDAV and CardDAV contacts and calendar data with Calendar and Mail applications. However, this functionality is normally limited to certain Microsoft partners.

You cannot directly add a CalDAV/CardDAV server account. This one imposes limits to synchronization only with Google, iCloud and Yahoo accounts!. However, you can bypass this limitation to add any CalDAV and CardDAV service providers.

To circumvent the limitation, we will use the Icloud provider when adding the schedule.

Before explaining how to do this, take note of this important warning.

|| ### Warning || Note that there is an inherent security risk by following this tutorial. Until Windows version 10.0.1607, we were able to confirm that your DAV account password is not sent to Apple if you follow these instructions. However, later versions of Windows may change the implementation in a way that may expose your password. || If Windows supports two-factor connections for Apple credentials in the future, your connections could be sent to Apple servers. Similarly, Windows may remove the option to change DAV server addresses and Apple server addresses. || Don’t use login credentials for accounts you don’t want to share with Apple. Apple is unlikely to record incorrect login information sent to its servers, but there is always a risk that it will be intercepted.
