How to download a file backup from Jetbackup5
JetBackup 5 allows you to download backups of your website files directly from cPanel. This guide explains how to download a file backup from JetBackup 5 step by step.
Step 1: Log in to cPanel
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Scroll to the Files section.
- Click on JetBackup5

Step 2: Choose the Backup Type
Once inside JetBackup, you will see multiple restore/download options:
- Full Account Backups – Entire account backup
- File Backups – Website files (home directory)
- Database Backups – MySQL databases
- Email Backups – Email accounts and messages

Select File backups (Home Directory) from the available options
Step 3: Select the Backup Date
After choosing the backup type, you will see a list of available backup dates. Click on the desired backup date.

Step 4: Select Files or Folders
- Click on Change File Selection.
- Browse to the file or folder you want to download.
- Select the required items and click Select Files.

- Once the files are selected, click Download.

Step 5: Download the Backup
Click Download Selected Items.
he download request will be added to the queue.

Step 6: Retrieve the Backup File
Once the backup has been created, you will be able to download it from Jetbackup5 >> Downloads
Click Download next to the prepared backup file.

The backup file will be saved to your local system.
