JetBackup 5 allows you to download backups of your website files directly from cPanel. This guide explains how to download a file backup from JetBackup 5 step by step.



Step 1: Log in to cPanel


  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Scroll to the Files section.
  3. Click on JetBackup5


Step 2: Choose the Backup Type


Once inside JetBackup, you will see multiple restore/download options:


  • Full Account Backups – Entire account backup
  • File Backups – Website files (home directory)
  • Database Backups – MySQL databases
  • Email Backups – Email accounts and messages



Select File backups (Home Directory) from the available options



Step 3: Select the Backup Date


After choosing the backup type, you will see a list of available backup dates. Click on the desired backup date.



Step 4: Select Files or Folders


  1. Click on Change File Selection.
  2. Browse to the file or folder you want to download.
  3. Select the required items and click Select Files.


  1. Once the files are selected, click Download.




Step 5: Download the Backup


Click Download Selected Items.


he download request will be added to the queue.


Step 6: Retrieve the Backup File


Once the backup has been created, you will be able to download it from Jetbackup5 >> Downloads


Click Download next to the prepared backup file.


The backup file will be saved to your local system.
