How to manage the PHP version used?

You can easily see and edit the PHP version used by your site from your cPanel control panel.

The steps to check or change the PHP version used



Log in to your cPanel.

In the Software section, click the PHP Version Selector icon.



In the management interface, select for which use you want to change the PHP version. You will see the versions currently used for the site and the extensions.



If you want to make a change, click on the PHP version used to open a drop-down menu. Then select the version you want to use in the future.



The window will then display a list of PHP configuration options. Select the ones you want and click the Apply button.



You should then briefly see a window pop up at the top right of your screen telling you about the success of the change.
