Couldn't reach CPanel control panel?
When you buy a hosting plan from ex2.com, we provide you with access to the cPanel control panel (in other words, your toolbox to manage your hosting).
For example:
http: //SERVER-IP: 2083
http://cpanel.yourdomain.com
http://webmail.yourdomain.com
http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
Ports 2082 and 2086 on your modem, router, firewall, or computer are closed. You have to open them.
Our servers are equipped with security systems that can ban your IP for multiple reasons. For example: incorrect password, abuse or other. This allows us to ensure the quality of accommodation for our customers. If you have a similar issue, please open a ticket in your member's area to have your IP removed from the Blacklist.
Note: One of our customers warned us that he was having difficulty accessing the cPanel since he had installed FORCEFIELD which is a 'Virtual Browser' used with IE or firefox. Just uninstall it since it seems to be causing interference with our firewall.
The alternative would be to connect via port 80 either: http://cpanel.yourdomain.com
If the problem still persists, you can also try clearing your browser's cache.
To access this panel, all you have to do is enter the server IP followed by port 2082.
For example:
http: //SERVER-IP: 2083
http://cpanel.yourdomain.com
http://webmail.yourdomain.com
http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
When you are unable to access this panel and receive an error message (page unreachable or high timeout), it could be one of the issues below.
