How to perform the TXT validation requested by Google Search Console?

Google Search Console is a tool to have a lot of information about your website and its SEO. Before it gives you access to this tool, however, Google must ensure that you are the owner of the site in question.

One of the ways you can demonstrate your rights on the site is to create a validation TXT record. This can easily be done via your cPanel control panel.

The steps to complete the TXT validation requested by Google Search Console

To begin, go to the Google Search Console and enter the domain name you want to validate.

Copy the code provided to you by Google and keep this tab open.

In a new tab, log in to your cPanel.

In the Domains section, click the Zone Editor tool.

Next to the domain, click the Manage icon to access the records.

To the right of the top bar, click the arrow next to Add Record to access the drop-down menu. Then click Add a TXT Record.

Enter the domain provided to Google in the Name section. In the Record portion of your TXT Record, insert the code provided by Google and click Save Record.

Go back to the Google Serach Console tab and click the Validate button at the bottom of the window.

A window will display the successful validation and you will be able to access the Google Search Console functionality.
