# You can use the following steps to get the [EPP code](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-an-epp-code-and-how-to-use-it-1xkpppz/?bust=1676465835060) from LWS:

*   **Log into** the administration of your account
*   Check your details. It is imperative that the email address indicated in your customer file is valid. If it is not valid, correct it.
*   Go to the “**Domain management**” section.
*   Click on the “**Protection**” icon.
*   Deactivate the protection by checking the “**Deactivated**” box then validate.
*   Go to the “**Auth code**” icon in the “**Domain management**” section.
*   Click on the “**Validate**” button to receive your domain name code by email. This is sent within 6 hours of your request by the registry managing your domain name.
