# How to Disable the Two-Factor Authentication on Your cPanel Account?

# If you want to remove the Two-Factor Authentication from your cPanel account, follow these instructions.

1. [Log into your cPanel account](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/how-to-log-in-to-my-cpanel-account-xyoqm0/?bust=1676305236426).

2. In the Security section of [cPanel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-cpanel-vq3toz/?bust=1784206091492), click on the Two-Factor Authentication Icon.

3. Click on the Remove Two-Factor Authentication button.

4. For confirmation, click on Remove.

You will see a message like Success: The system removed the two-factor authentication from your account.
