# How to Change the PHP Version via CloudLinux Selector in cPanel?

You can use CloudLinux's Select [PHP](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-php-and-what-is-it-used-for-x4xvdq/?bust=1784054117446) Version to change your website's PHP Version. [CloudLinux](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-the-cloudlinux-os-1v8651h/?bust=1784568161284) provides various [PHP](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-php-and-what-is-it-used-for-x4xvdq/?bust=1784568202271) Versions to choose from.

# Here are the steps to change the PHP Version via CloudLinux Selector in cPanel:

1. [Log into your cPanel interface](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/how-to-log-in-to-my-cpanel-account-xyoqm0/?bust=1676305236426) "https://www.domainname.com:2083" or by going through your client area.

2. In the Software section of [cPanel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-cpanel-vq3toz/?bust=1784206091492), click the Select PHP Version.

3. On the right side of Current PHP version, click on the drop-down menu and choose the version you wish to use.

4. Click Set as current.
