# How to change the language of the cPanel control panel?

## Steps to change the cPanel control panel language

1. [Log in to your cPanel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/how-to-log-in-to-my-cpanel-account-xyoqm0/?bust=1678979221105).

2. In the Preferences section of [cPanel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-cpanel-vq3toz/?bust=1784206091492), click the Change Language icon.

3. Click the arrow to the right of the currently used language to open a drop-down menu and select the desired language.

4. Click the Edit button to confirm the change.

5. A small window should pop up to let you know the success of the process. Your control panel will then automatically translate into the new language.
