# How do I see which software versions my server uses?

## The steps to see the software versions used by your server

1. [Log in to your cPanel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/how-to-log-in-to-my-cpanel-account-xyoqm0/?bust=1676305236426).

2. On the right side of your [cPanel control panel](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-cpanel-vq3toz/?bust=1784817968076), you will see a menu called General Information. At the bottom of this menu, click the link named Server Information.

3. You will then arrive at a page containing a wealth of information about the server. You will find there the used versions of software like Apache, [MySQL](https://help.ex2.com/en/article/what-is-mysql-1keq6x7/?bust=1784817150200) and Perl.
